How to upload or link YouTube videos

1. Make sure you are currently logged in your ThreadMap account
2. Find the Second Life region for which you would like to upload a video:
• Find region on the map
• Or search for the region name in the search panel
• Or, if you know existing media for that region, find and click on that media, and you will see the region info in the lower part of the screen
3. Click 'Upload Video' button in the region panel (lower part of the screen) and either upload the video file or paste the url of the YouTube video

How to upload images

1. Make sure in your ThreadMap profile ('My Profile' tab) you entered your Second Life name - we need to know it to link the snapshot you will send to us to your ThreadMap account
2. Start Second Life
3. Find the scene you would like to take a snapshot of
4. When you have the scene ready, select File->Take Snapshot




5. Choose the 'Send a via email' option (it is free)




6. In the "Recipient's Email" box enter pics@threadmap.com




7. Optional: enter tags in the Subject entry field. Tags are single words separated by spaces. Using tags makes it simpler to find your images. For example (without quotes) "architecture facade stone"
8. Optional: enter description in the Message entry field. For example: A nice building with beautiful facade surrounded by a tree garden
9. Click Send
10. Your snapshot will appear on the site in a few minutes.

Can I remove my media after I have uploaded it?
